Police Substation and Forensic Lab

 
Project engineer of the two-story, 75,000 sq. ft. office and lab. Building with structural steel frame and concrete pier foundation. Designed the composite steel and conventional steel framing for the floor and roof framing. Performed dynamic analysis on the second floor structure to minimize vibration effect from the mechanical equipment on the sensitive instruments. Location: Austin, Texas

Horizon II Office Building and Parking Garage

This project includes a four story, 6,000 sq. ft. office and a 500 car four-level parking garage. The foundation for both projects is deep drilled pier system. The office building is constructed of cast in place concrete members. Location: Austin, Texas

Southwestern Bell at Manchaca

Addition Four-story concrete office and equipment building. Analyzed and designed columns, footings, beams, shear walls, retaining walls, two-way slabs, concrete stairs, and steel trusses for awning framing.

Wild Basin Office Building

110,000 sq. ft. four story office building. Building is constructed with cast in place concrete beams, joists, slab, basement walls, and columns. Foundation system is slab on grade with deep piers. Exterior finish is combination of masonry and spandrel glass. Location: Austin, Texas

Texas Municipal Retirement System Office Building and Parking Garage

Addition Project includes a two level, 50,000 sq. ft. of office building and a 3 & / 2 level, 400 car parking garage additions. Both office building and the parking garage are cast in place concrete beams, pan joists, and columns. Foundation system is drilled pier with slab on grade. Upper levels are cast in place concrete beams and slab, cast in place concrete columns and shear walls. Exterior walls are masonry and architectural precast panels. Basement parking level is 15'-0" below grade.

Motorola MOS 11 Administration Bldg. Expansion

24,000 sq. ft. two story office building with underground trenches. Building was constructed with concrete frames and joist and slab system. Foundation was a combination of slab on grade and suspended concrete frames supported by deep piers. Exterior finish was metal siding. Location: Austin, Texas
