Phase I structures include the construction of intake and outfall structures, retaining walls, wing walls, rip-rap, concrete base slab, cast in place and precast box culverts and headwalls. Phase II structures include the construction of over 3,000 ft. long flood wall and levee to retain the 100 year flood. Wall heights vary from 5 ft. to over 10 ft. tall. Both cantilevered retaining wall with shallow foundation and cantilevered retaining wall with deep pier foundation are utilized. Location: Austin, Texas

Water detention structures, including: Retaining wall, intake and outlet structures, wing walls, buttress walls and concrete and rock rip-rap. Pond structure is consisted of cast in place concrete walls up to 10 ft. tall to temporarily retain water level up to 100 year flood and to allow water to pass through during low flow. Wing walls are tied to the main wall and the beams at both sides. All walls are designed as cantilevered retaining walls supported by continuous shallow footings set into limestone or silty clay.
